Is my data safe with MyGigsters?

We take data privacy and security very seriously. The MyGigsters application actively works with an industry-leading data service provider who enable us to read into the data statements like expenses and transactions. We do not ask for or have access to your bank credentials like username and passwords, neither can we make any changes to your transaction history or amounts. MyGigsters does not have any access to the money in your bank account. The service provider we have partnered with is well established and trusted by hundreds of fin-tech companies in Australia and across the globe. We assure you that your data is stored strictly in Australia and is not shared anywhere in the world. We do not tamper, sell or abuse information collected from our users. We collect your data for the sole purpose of making tax lodging quick, easy, hassle-free and transparent for you. I am a gig worker/freelancer/ sole trader/ independent contractor in Australia, how can MyGigstes help me?

The app uses smart AI algorithm to automatically identify any potential tax deductions from your expenses in minutes and generate a refund estimation. Not only that, you get matched with a registered tax agent when you sync your bank account who will help you with all of your financial queries and tax lodging journey. When the time comes, our tax expert will review your reports and lodge your taxes for you! We make tax lodging super efficient, easy and quick for you so you don't have to stress during tax season. Additionally, we offer services with GST, BAS and all other tax related statements and lodging throughout the year. Not just this, the entire experience is tailor-made to fit your unique tax profile.

How does the app work?

The AI model works by looking at your transaction history and expense statements to identify potential business expenses that can be lodged to claim potential tax deductions and tracks them under potentially deductible categories so you don't have to spend extra time doing it one by one. In case you make a random business purchase and would want to claim it as tax refunds you can go to the app and categorise it manually. The app is designed to give the user financial freedom with both automatic and manual functions.

Can the app help me if I don't have an ABN?

We are still working on that. Our current release is primarily for self-employed users who hold an ABN. If you are a TFN or ACN holder we have something coming up for you shortly!
